I didn't catch much of the to-be-for-veggies part, but here's my ghetto birdfeeder + birdbath. I'm going to have to get an actual bath tub for that thing, it's hideous.

Plant some trees/flowers/garden ~ I just bought a peach tree and a nectarine tree from lowes ^-^ Cost almost forty dollars for the pair, and the peach already has little buds on it! :3
Start a compost heap ~ Idk if this counts but my culinary class has a compost bucket and every friday we take it over to our horticulture class to use as fertiliser.
Take a pledge to not litter. Or something. I pledge to continue my fifteen year streak of not littering !:3
Recycle! ~ I recycled my homework today in class if that counts? xD Also my soda can!
Take public transit or bike/walk instead of driving ~ I take the bus to school everyday. Don't own a car xD

Drink tap water instead of bottled water or other bottled drinks. I can't afford bottled water xD tap water is better for you anyways. Eight cups a day. All from my tap. And sometimes my neighbors well.

I'm currently growing some daisies to go in my mom's yard! The sprouts just started to come out of the soil yesterday! (I also got her some Strawberry seeds since she grows some of her own produce.)

In the big city, fresh local isn't really available, and there's very little organic to be had, too - but I do drink exclusively organic milk.

Tap water's great if you have one of these - a filter jug. We got 2 of them, one kept room temperature, and one kept cool in the fridge.
