Quests & Challenges

Hello everyone! Welcome to day zero of my new challenge. I have long thought it would be awesome if I could start over with Flight Rising. Having been around for over 11 years means there is not much left for me to do and collect. I understand why we are only allowed to have one account so I decided to make my own version of starting over. There are some things I can't change of course. I am drowning in Arlo resources, my Baldwin is max level, I have a lot of food converted and I can't wipe my Bestiary information. That is okay though, I will still do my best to make this a fun and difficult challenge. The start of this thread is step number one. It is looking a little bare bones at the moment because it is a lot of work to set up, but I will fix that as this challenge progresses. I will be moving everything I currently own out of my hoard and into the vault except for three eggs. I will hatch the eggs tomorrow and those dragons will be the main coliseum team. Because I want to jump into the coliseum right away, I will be using scrolls of maturity on them. Lets hope we get some pretty dragons! If you wanted to make Baldwin and Arlo more difficult, you could find details on teh XP Baldwin requires for each level, and log it through brewing and stuff... which is probably way more painful than warrented, but I mean... lmao. Arlo I would just log how much of each resource you have at rollover on 'day one' before you collect, and not go under that amount for the duration of your challenge - that way you're only ever using whatever you gathered each day since starting the challenge :)

@ThistleProse Yeah, I will never get the true experience of starting over. I don't think I will bother with tracking Baldwin and Arlo because it is a pain. There are some downsides to being an older player as well. Almost all my familiars are maxed so I rarely get chests. For Baldwin I will brew the familiars in order of level and for Arlo I will also start at the first digsite, but that is all I am willing to do. Yesterday I had to spent 5k achievement points on useless stuff to get that down to zero! And I only have the pursuits to get new points since I nearly have all achievements done, so another downside. I think in end it somewhat balances eachother out.

I have been thinking about doing a new challenge for a while, but it is hard to find anything fun and original. I like this one, but it is going to take forever. Wondering if I should start with saving for the Light Sprite first. :D

My 3 dragons have been hatched and matured. They are all boys and their colors aren't too bad. I named them Twinkle, Clover & Bramble. Time to jump in the coliseum! I've gotten 20/25 of the familiars, and all I want is an eggo, and I swear if you get an egg before I do I will pout so hard my bottom lip will probably fall off XD

Your starting trio are nice! I especially like the middle fellow. I was like "I have a green-purple child!" and I went to look in my lair/den, and I have... three of them, but none of them is the one I was actually looking for LOL. I think I sold him or maybe he ended up as payment for foddart? Something like that, anyway lmao. Will you gene your boys up, or just keep 'em basic?

@ThistleProse My egg luck usually isn't great, so we will see how it goes! I will be gening them up eventually yes. Besides those 3 main boys, I have to end the challenge with 17 other fully gened and leveled gen 1's. It is going to take forever. The green-purple is also my fav! Snow bellies are easy to gene. I will look at some scrying options later.
