This challenge is based off of “Glory be a Goddess” by CalliopeVale and “for the glory of light” by ScribbleFoxx, both an adaptation of the 100 hatchlings challenge. I have been wanting to write in some lore for my clan, and I have run out of creativity for breeding so this seemed fun!

This may be out of slight vanity, but I do feel my coloring lends itself to the colors present in the Earth flight, and I hope this will please Earthshaker. Also, I hope that Lightbringer will be able to see my genes in my daughter and love her as fiercely as I will. SunsOre matches the description, even if he is a little...vain. Our first nest has only two eggs. I pray one of them will bless me with a beautiful daughter.

The prevailing rain gave me little hope but one of my two little eggs hatched into a majestic little girl. She may not be much to look at at first, but her body being the color of soil is the perfect homage to The Earthshaker himself. Plus, her blue accented wings will lend well to the more crystalline realms of Earthshaker's domain. It makes me happy to believe that this blue is Earthshaker's acknowledgement of my beautiful mate and the role she has to play in all this. Also, she has these enchanting eyes of a rare shade of dark brown. I hope she passes these strong, honourable traits to many hatchlings. I will teach her to be a soft, compassionate mother to these children, so that they may have favorable temperaments for their time at Earthshaker's side. I also want her to be strong, to maintain such a devoted lifestyle and to stand up for herself when people question her path in life. indentI recognize that this path I will guide my daughter down will be difficult for her. She may not understand my devotion to the Earthshaker at first, but I will teach her to love him just as he loves and protects us. I will be at her side the whole time to help. I am so eager for my little daughter's journey to begin, but she is still too young. I will take these early years to bond with her and teach her love - from me, the clan, and most of all from Earthshaker. indent I will name the little priestess Rhea, for the name's grounded qualities and connection to fertility. Her twin brother, who looks like a powerful volcano, will be named Turrialba. I think I will keep him around, mostly as a protector for the glorious Rhea, may their connection stay strong. However, I think keeping Turrialba is a bit of self-indulgence; hopefully holding him close will bring me comfort while I have to send my grandkids far away. I have gifted her a set of apparel that matches her coloring beautifully so that she stands out from other clanmates and may attract more mates. Although it will be a while yet before Rhea can begin her quest and lay her first nest, I will cherish this time with her attention. I plan to have her and her brother trained; god forbid my precious children be defenseless. This will require help from the rest of the clan, as they will need an experienced guide through the battlegrounds since I am only an advisor. Renya has agreed to oversee their first training today. I trust her to take care of my hatchlings, she is powerful. I also want Stalactite to train Rhea in the ways of healing so she'll be well-rounded. indentAll I want is the best for my hatchlings. I will be right by Rhea's side to guide her the whole time. indent A day after Rhea hatched, I found an unhatched plague egg while scavenging. One day later, it hatched. I do not know what to think of this little Fae, especially during the Plaguebringer's celebration. Riot of Rot is a disgusting holiday, but I guess I can't blame this little dragon for that. Maybe she can be friends with Rhea.
