Because I love to make myself suffer I decided to start this challenge inspired by [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/forums/qnc/3039228/1]@/Festivoog's iteration of it[/url]. I'll copy and paste the rules here too for personal reference and then introduce my unfortunate dragon lol [LIST] [*]The first dragon will be the unfortunate bachelor himself: [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/84153762]Hohepa[/url] [*]All subsequent heirs will be determined by RNG. No cherrypicking. [*]Heir names come from the first randomized suggestion. [*]Mates can only come from AH searches when the heir is old enough to breed. No stockpiling a beautiful mate ahead of time. [/LIST] Determining a Mate: [LIST] [*]When the heir comes of age, run a treasure only AH search for a RTB triple-gened modern breed of the opposite gender. (Yeesh, that’s a mouthful!) [*]Roll a D20 to determine the page. [*]Roll a D10 to determine the potential mate. [*]Assay the bloodlines to determine compatibility. If the chosen dragon cannot be used, repeat steps 2 and 3 until an acceptable mate is found. [*]If the mate is unnamed then go with the first randomized suggestion. [*]Do not forsee the progeny. Throw the happy couple on a nest and let the magic happen... [/LIST] The challenge ends when a suitably beautiful dragon is born And now for the starter of the challenge! After rolling for page of the auction house and number from that page, I ended up with this girl, already named: Agendra! On to the nest [img]https://flightrising.com/images/nests/8/3healthy_0dead.png[/img] Three eggs, not bad! Now we wait I'm pretty sure their hatch day will be ummm the 17th! St Patrick's day!

Agendra and Hohepa's nest hatched! Lets look at the hatchlings shall we First we have this girl, named Radine by the random name generator: [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/84794114][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/847942/84794114_350.png[/img][/url] Mauve/Lavender/Denim Tapir/Basic/Basic She's.. colourful, personally I don't enjoy pink dragons lol and I'm unsurprisingly still stuck with the basic genes. Really hoping I don't get her as my heir sorry Radine ----- Hatchling number 2 the unfortunately named Quesnel (seriously what sort of name is that) [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/84794115][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/847942/84794115_350.png[/img][/url] Moon/Orchid/Indigo Tapir/Basic/Basic Definitely better but still not my favourite! The third is the one I'd pick if I was allowed tbh ----- Andd this girl! I'll be holding Radine and Astero (and Agendra, the mum) for two days before selling em on at fodder price so if anyone wants to adopt one for any reason either pm me or just reply here and I'd be happy to give em away See you next time when Quesnel can breed ^^

So I got impatient lol and rolled for Quesnel's breeding partner and bought em before she is ready to breed; listen it was still completely randomised it was just 3 days early its finee Anyway here he is! [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/84703222][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/847033/84703222_350.png[/img][/url] Coal/Thicket/Black Poison/Butterfly/Keel Unnamed when I got him so the randomizer named him Umber! A nice name, for a change Really really hoping at least one hatchling inherits butterfly because I [i]love[/i] that gene so much, poison ehhh I could live without frankly See you again on April 1st ^^

Nest hatched! I'm actually really happy with all these babies, not enough to end the challenge but still Hatchling number 1! Named Meuse by the generator [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/85338162][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/853382/85338162_350.png[/img][/url] Dust/Storm/Violet Tapir/Basic/Basic I [i]love[/i] blue but I'm especially a sucker for greys and blacks primary with blue/green secondary which basically all of these guys have so I really don't care which is picked. I could do without the purple tert they've all inherited from Quesnel though [emoji=guardian sad size=1] Hatchling number 2! Aderyn [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/85338163][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/853382/85338163_350.png[/img][/url] Shale/Turquoise/Iris Tapir/Basic/Basic Ultimately idc who gets picked but if I had to pick the one I wanted the least because I prefer blue over greenish colours lol. He's still got really nice colours with the primary/secondary combo at least Andd last but not least: Hatchling number 3! The only hatchling without it so far has been Radine and she was pink and purple Anyyyway! Drum roll please its time to roll that d3! Oh right, one last thing: until the children actually start having two/three non basic genes I'm going to sell the spares as fodder straight away but I'll hold the mate (in this case [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/84703222]Umber[/url]) for a couple of days before fodder selling them too so if anyone wants Umber (for free!) let me know :]

Its that time again! Breeding time, rolled for Meuse's partner and we have (drumroll please) This girl! [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/81170540][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/811706/81170540_350.png[/img][/url] I'm trying to be optimistic in that the primary and secondary colour ranges won't be massive but.... ehhh I only like blend or fade if it matches with another colour the dragon has and thats not likely to happen in this case [emoji=guardian sad size=1] Also she was unnamed and the random name generator named her corruption fitting since she's going to corrupt my bloodline- sorry sorry we're fine we stay optimistic (that is a joke I am not genuinely upset I just thought it would be funny) Anddd on to the nest [center][img]https://flightrising.com/images/nests/8/3healthy_0dead.png[/img][/center] Once again, we have 3 eggs, this lineage of dragons really likes three for some reason

Big day for us today! I finally, finally have a nest that hatched babies without a basic secondary!! So without further ado, here are our dragon hatchlings Hatchling number 1: Yunwin [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/85791511][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/857916/85791511_350.png[/img][/url] He's gloom fade/blue blend/swamp basic and idk I'm not a huge fan of fade/blend but at this point I'd take Yunwin as a heir just to get rid of that basic secondary, if I get the one baby still with a basic secondary I am never going to recover Hatchling number 2: Ricky [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/85791512][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/857916/85791512_350.png[/img][/url] Ricky's my favourite no question Eldritch/Navy/Aqua, Tapir/Blend/Basic I can't keep her if she's not the heir since I'm really tight on space but I really want to Last but not least we haveee: Veronica [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/85791513][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/857916/85791513_350.png[/img][/url] The family disappointment who inherited the basic gene twice Please RNG gods don't give me number 3 on this roll [img]https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/1068642691879026728/1100698452834386011/Screenshot_20230426-092115_Chrome.jpg[/img] This is.
