Only projects finished after 2022 will be documented as records from earlier projects aren't available. [b]Numbers[/b] Numbers will follow behind the colors and genes of noted dragons. The number in the parenthesis behind the color denotes how far the color is to the goal color, thus the closer to zero the better. The number in the parenthesis behind the gene denotes how many rarities below the goal gene there are, thus the smaller the better. [b]Generations[/b] I prefer using P(arental) and F(ilial) to denote relations to specific dragons. P is primarily used to mark in which parental generation the dragon in question is to the goal dragon, ex. p1 is a parent and P3 is a great-grandparent. Meanwhile F marks how far dragons are from a common ancestor, ex. F1 is a child and F4 is a great-great-grandchild. [b]Redundancy[/b] Only luck will save both time and space, but more often than not chance prefers spite. When in want of quicker progress the more reliable way would be more pairs. I find the process of breeding more enjoyable than actually keeping the goal dragon. [/columns]

Any offspring with colors within +/-2 and Bee and Filigree would be considered for nest rental in Wind. --------------- [b]November 2021[/b] - An impromptu hiatus happened because there were three or four other projects happening at the same time. When this project was next revived, Padriel and Patara were taken out of the picture. Another female (Feiradis) had been found and was paired up with whichever suitable male offspring of Ornan and Calenil. For one, this gene combination wasn't the easiest to find. The first Fade source had a secondary out in the 40s range, and it took [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/forums/qnc/2622176/21#post_53024346]five generations[/url] to coax the gene combination into +/-10 color range. But now there was a pair of siblings (lartok and ignane) that could hopefully pass down all the genes to the final pair. The plan thus far: Breed in separate groups for the final dragons, and make sure that at least one group went four generations down so the final dragons could breed. [b]January 2023[/b] - There appeared good hope that one dragon of the final pair wasn't too far away. lartok and Machai finally threw an offpring with Ringlets instead of Peacock that was also a P2 material. The boy paired up with Javiera, and since the other half of the project was far in the distant future they could breed without pressure until they spit out a desired dragon, thus effectively functioning as a P1 pair. Because I only noticed at this point that Normia and Muskia had painful odds to produce a compatible female. It would require them to nail the 1/6 probability for both secondary and tertiary colors to be right and then the 1/2 sex. But there weren't any other males with better chances, so Sovari and Titania were back on nests in hopes for more options -- a -/+/- to be exact. [b]September 2023[/b] - Normia x Muskia made it! A male that got the colors and all but one gene, which was going to be scrolled, because no more breeding with these dragons. Meanwhile Phaimu that had used up a great deal of luck and had been kept for this line ended up not being used...
