Two males and a female! (and one that is almost identical to their mother) Who shall be chosen? (if you've seen my last update, you already know lol) [center][url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/84170495][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/841705/84170495_350.png[/img][/url][/center] Without repeating myself too much, [b]Aura[/b] was my choice for our generation 5 heir, as she was the closest to our goal out of all of the hatchies, except for wing colour, and more importantly she is a female; thus allowing for her to breed with [b]Salvadore[/b]. I’m excited to see what colours (and hopefully genes) this next generation will bring! I’m glad you got an outcome that you were happy with!! Also I do find it funny that one of the hatchies was almost a dupe for their mother, so I’m very glad that they didn’t wegg because that would have been tragic.

Also feel free to go ahead and use this idea for your next breeding project! If you wouldn’t mind, could you credit me for it? (Though, to be fair someone has probably already done this as a concept before lol) I’ve sort of been referring to it as a “chain link” lineage or something like that :)

I’ve actually been working on starting a new project using my progens (using the same idea, but with a different starting “chain” dragon), and seeing how differently the genes interact with others now that Cobal and Aerae are fully gened up!

(Basically, I’m trying to say do whatever makes you happy ultimately! Don’t worry too much about if your starting chain dragon has genes or not, it’s more about experimenting and seeing what happens as you work towards your goal (unless you want your gen 1 heir to have no genes, in which case go for that too!)

[b]Aura[/b] has finally aged enough so that she can breed with [b]Salvadore[/b] for the next generation of this challenge, but once again - I lack nesting space to be able to breed them together.
