Let's start with my fist little project. I got a few other projects for myself and one dragonwish fondation project in planing, but the following project is the only one I completely planed now. Let's see how far I got today.
Project TAG 0001
Project Typ: privat
Breed: Nocturne
Sex: Male
Primary: Crystal - Steel
Secondary: Shimmer - Antique
Tertiary: Firefly - Maize
Eyes: Light - uncommon prefered
For this project I got my Wildclaw
Kolight, that fits perfectly. He got crystal in steel color, shimmer in antique color and is only three colors away from the tertiary color where he wear the rare gene Koi, whats weak against the firefly gene I need. So he will definitely get the father of the final project hatchling.
One part of my dragon parents I already had. I just need the other one, so I looking for dragons they fits. I found two good dragons pretty quickly they match pretty good.
Seryoga I brought for her fireflys and paid 15.000 and
Lux for 12.000. At that time I brought a third dragon because I thought I need more than Seryoga, Lux and Kolight. I payed for
that female Nocturne 30.000 and will sell her for the same or at least for a similar price. You will see, she wasn't the only bad buy I did.
I ended up with the following plan.
Seroya breed with Lux for a nocturne hatchling with firefly. The primary gene isn't that important at the moment. Shimmer will be inherited to 100% because both have it. Imperial and Nocturne is a 50/50 chance. That's fine for me.
The only problem I got in this pair is the 10% chance to get the fireflys. I decided that's nevertheless the best way. The other option was more breeding pairs with a lager color range. So I put Seroya and Lux on Wendsday (17.08.2022) in the nest and waiting excited for the first two hatchlings.
In this pair I got a color range from 5 colors on the primary gene (but to the needed color 5 - 9 colors in between), 7 colors on the secondary gene and 7 colors on the tertiary gene.
I think there is a better breeding plan for that dragon, but for my fist plan I'm pretty proud of myself and can learn a lot out of the implementation.
I also found this awesome cards by
Straif and will use them for a better overview.
