I am Duosora, and I am going to teach @HollowBay to earn an [b]Imperial Scroll[/b] over the long course of daily quests. 366 days. Over one thousand gems per day. A crazy pace that will hopefully turn into yet another great story of a person obtaining the elusive item. Let's make this a great year!

She observes you with unfeigned curiosity, yet readiness to fight back if needed. After a couple of crest swings that covered you in slime drips, she finally gazed in front of you. "That scaramouche mire dweller Elgar sent you to me."[/columns] After analyzing you with her sight a bit more, Fae nodded and turned around, causing more slime drips to cover you. "I am Elysia Swallowtail, the Archmage of IRIS. And I'm about to sharpen your fighting skills, rookie." While you're thinking what did she mean by saying 'rookie', she spat another words right in front of you. "One thousand and three hundred sixty seven gems per day. Did you hear that, rookie?", she casted a sharp gaze, like she looked through your very essence running inside your veins. "This is how much you will have to obtain in items. Every single day, rookie." She went away and started to read some sort of book, murmuring something in her nose. "Hmm. 456 familiars a day is too harsh for a rookie... No. Maybe this... Maybe that... Maybe those ones... Gah, no! All too hard for this thing!" She closed a book, her crests hinting anger on it. "Okay. It is decided. Here are your daily tasks. Inform me about the progress, check your mail in your lair daily for all that year and if you will succeed doing them... We will talk about you and my crew." [*]Obtain [b]2 Sand Creepers[/b] from Sandswept Delta. [*]List these and everything else that drops in the Auction House for 7 days and lowest auction house price in gems. Do not list Unhatched Eggs or Strange Chests in the Auction House, keep them for the future until further orders.[/list] [size=5]Repeating Daily Effort[/size] Refresh the [b]Rainsong Jungle[/b] venue until you will encounter a Goldenbeast or Overcharged Silverbeast. Fight two bosses each day (either two golden, a golden and a silver, a silver and a golden or two silvers, doesn't matter). [size=5]Repeating Daily Chance[/size] [i]This is a special thingy. It can earn you a vacation for almost half a month. You spin a roulette once a day for a chance to get that rest.[/i] Refresh the [b]Golem Workshop[/b] venue until you will encounter a Frost Delver or Stone Borer. He was excited and yet, he couldn't believe, that due to his curiosity had let him to be "recruited" by THE [i]Elysia Swallowtail of IRIS[/i]. [color=4D2C89] Elucul himself has been born and raised in the [i]Starfall Isles[/i], before he had left to seek out adventures and explore the wonders of his world. Growing up, he had heard stories of a Wind Mage who had been accepted into his region and had become quite acknowledged by her talented skills with in the art of Alchemy. Elucul himself liked alchemy, however his experimenting had often ended up in explotions of smoke or colors splattered everywhere - [i]including on himself[/i]. When he had first heard of Elysia Swallowtail and her home region [i]The Windswept Plateau[/i], he felt curious and looked up all the books he could find at the local library of Wind dragons. As he read he grew more and more excited and curious. [i]Adventures, maps, compasses[/i]. This, this ... This was so exciting! Never had he felt such a hungry passion for something new and unknown. A passion to explore, to seek out the unknown. He had rushed home to tell his parents about his new findinds and his new calling - his new goal. At first they didn't understood him... Frankly, his dad had gotten awfully upset, due to their ancestors, who was known for been famours alchemists and he had hoped Elucul would continue in their path. For a few days his dad wouldn't say much more than grunts to him, which made Elucul extremely sad. He didn't wish to desrespect his family... But he so deeply wished to explore the world and become an adventure. After a month, his dad came to him and said he may not understand his passion for adventures, but he wasn't angry. He was just worried, worried for his only offspring growing up and leaving the nest. Even if Elucul wouldn't do alchemy like his family had done for many, many generations, his parents would still love him and be ever so proud, that he had found his goal in life. When Elucul's wings were strong enough to carry him through the strongest winds, he packed all the necessary things he would need on his travel - along with a [b]big[/b] lunch sack from his mother. He said goodbye to his parents and left Starfall Isles. With a beating heart, excited for what layed ahead of him.[/color] With a racing mind of a thousand thoughts, thought to himself that he had to tell someone... Someone who knew alot about this world, someone who would have knowledge of where to find these items and creatures, someone...wise. He had to find [i]Della.[/i] [center] [img]https://flightrising.com/rendern/350/87508/8750745_350.png[/img][/center] [color=4D2C89] Della was a wise dragon from the Sunbeam Ruins, who is currently on her book series " The 11 Flights, their stories and wonders". She had always had a desire for knowledge and it made her feel empowered everytime she read a book, a scroll or tried to decode old ruins. After she had read [u]every single book[/u] at the Big Dragon Library, she had decided to leave the Sunbeam Ruins, to seek out adventures of her own and to gain the knowledge first hand, because as she told her: [i]Books can provide you all the knowledge in the world, but experiencing it in person can give you a whole other experience and enlight you in more ways than a book can.[/i] They had by accidentally stumbled upon each other when Della was following a Satin Pocketmouse, for her studies on smaller rodent of the nine regions, for her newest book collection. And Elucul had poked a curious mushroom, which had spit purple glittering powder onto his face, which caused him to fall back in shock, where Della was walking - heads down. And [b]BAM[/b], Della had gotten a glittering 'Nocturne-hat'. [/color] Elucul had no trouble finding Della, she was where he had last seen her... You will not believe what just happened to me![/i] Della turned and made a grunting snickle when she saw a slimy Elucul rushing over to her. [/i] Elucul explained everything about his encounter with Elysia and the quest she had stored upon him. Della's eyes lit up brighter than the sun, when Elucul asked her, if she would acompany him on this adventure, because honestly, he had no idea where to head out first and he needed someone with the knowledge of the regions and it's creatures. And as a bonus, she would be able to collect more data for her future book collections. [img]https://flightrising.com/rendern/portraits/87508/8750745p.png[/img][i]Oh by the tendrils of Lightweaver! This would be an amazing opportunity for the both of us! We better get started right away! So you said...[/i] Della took the book from her belt and opened it, with elegance, she opened it and looked inside. [i]Umbra Yarns, Redfin Belts and Sand Creepers. I know just the places where to find these, I shall log all our progess in my book. Then once we have collected all the items, you can give Elysia the book. Come on [i]mushroom hat[/i], we have a lot to do![/i] Della flapped her wings and with no further words, she began to run north of the hollow tree. He had been sitting on a branch on the tree, he jumped off it and flew after his 'knowledge mad' companion.

After hours of roaming around the Bamboo Falls, Redrock Cove and Sandswept Delta, the funky pair went back to The Tangled Wood. Exhausted, Elucul layed his head down on a rock to catch his breath. Meanwhile Della had all their collected items spread out all around her. Her notebook was laying down infront of her. She had crushed Black Tulips, and was using their flower sap as ink to write in the notebook. She was counting and muttering to herself. Elucul was surprised that she didn't seemed exhausted at all. But...s he was older and stronger than him, so you needed more to tire her out. He sighed. "[i]This has been alot of hard work[/i]." He thought to himself. "[i]I do hope ...I'll be able to finish this. I don't want to disappoint Elysia...[/i]". As Della finished up all the counting and documenting, she looked over her notes and nodded. While you go see her, I will go to the town and try to sell some of the other items we've collected[/i]." As she spoke she, she noticed that Elucul looked slightly distracted, lost in thoughts. She picked up a leaf from one of the Sand Creepers and went over to him. As she was standing over him, she dropped down the leaf on his nose and Elucul woke up from his trance. Not as you or any of the dragons back in the Starfall Isles.[/i]" He snorted and the leaf blew up the air. He looked up the at the sky. Della layed down next to him and looked up. You can't give up too early. You *did* finish the first quest Elysia stored upon you - I merely pointed you in the way to go." [/i] Elucul felt a little better hearing those words from his wise friend and he looked up at her with a little smile. I'll take the notebook along with the items to her now" Elucal jumped up and quickly went over to up the items, which he stuffed down in a sack. With a head held slightly higher, he began his traveling up the mountain again.

The sound of it hitting the rough earth surface was Sharp and deadly it was, but it wasn't shot with an intent to harm, which is proven by a parchment attached to it. Its edge was... slimy? Perhaps, this is a mail delivery from someone [b]very[/b] familiar. [color=#514300][i]I am pleasantly surprised that you are succeeding, rookie. Fellows started to spread rumors about someone wrecking mayhem in Bamboo Falls and Redrock Cove. Now these beasts know they shall not cope with whoever comes from [b]IRIS[/b]. They never learn to stray away from our lands, though. Your package had been received by our carriers and your personal salesman is already working to sell things you have obtained. Worry not about the selling: as the proverb goes, every Jack has his Jill, so you will have your share of a cold, hard gems for this beginner's task. Have your rest and whenever you will be ready, accept and perform the next task you see below in that parchment. Soon enough, I will meet you in person. After finishing the letter, Elucul rolled the paper down and held it in his hand. "[i]Personal salesman? Did they mean Della?[/i]". Elucul looked down at the sack. "[i]Well, I might as well bring this to Elysia's cave now I'm almost at the entrance[/i]". -- The cave was just as glittering yet splotched as fast time he had been there, altho, the slime seemed to have dried out. He went over to a tiny work table and placed the requested items on it. He then preceded to look around the cave. Besides the tiny table, there were pieces of paper shattered all around the floor and there was lab items. Things such as a mortar with it's pestle, beakers, test tubes and tongs. "[i]Does she work here [/i]?" he thought to himself while looking around. Then his noise caught a sent of something burning. Slowly he crawled to warns the smell, until he found it: a piece of burnt parchment. Elucul picked it up and looked at it, flipped it around in his claws. As the sunlight from outside the cave lit down on it, he could see that it had some writing on it. He squished his eyes and looked closer... "[i]Is this.. Is this formulas?[/i]". This must be some of Elysia's formulas, but why had she left it here? Unsupervised? He then had a thought... Maybe if he borrowed this and studies it, he would improve on his alchemy ? Afterall, Elysia was the best Alchemist he knew. "[i] I'm sure, that she won't be too...upset with me borrowing this...Right?[/i]". With a fast movement, he folded the parchment and placed it in his sack. While feeling slightly guilty, yet excited he left the cave to go out himself some new companions for himself and Della. Elucul found Della within the town market, arguing with a stubborn Snapper about the worth of a Redfin Eel. Elucul explained the new task he was given to Della and again, she lit up. Della had picked up all the smaller creatures , prey, and had placed them on her back, away from the carnivores. In a fast flying movementm he dodged the Warcat Protector's paw, Elucul flew up and clung himself to Della's neck.

She knew that he will pass the next challenge which was already prepared for Elucul on the burnt parchment he took with him. Throwing some materials to stock up ooze for experimenting, she let out a subtle sigh. [i]"I remember myself. I remember how persistent I was in my own young days."[/i] She rolled her eyes to see if there is a random spider to put in her cauldron among other ingredients to not run low on much. [i]"Good times."[/i] Casting another gaze into the sky, like wishing luck to Elucul, she eagerly awaited his next return to show up and explain everything. For now, the cauldron won't wait. In several days of wandering around the realm in their search of mighty creatures they could bring down, Elucul and Della reached [i]The Ghostllight Ruins[/i]. Either he wasn't crazy or something wasn't right with his head. On Della's head where the Satine Pocketmouse, which Della had named Charleston, shaking with fright. Della felt it too, something wasn't right... Someone was watching them. "[/i] With a smirk Elucul turned around to face her. It was a bony creature, it only had one wing which was torn to pieces. It's eyes was glowing in a bright ghostly and cold light blue and it seemed the fog was coming from it. Della was frozen in fear, unable to move. She has used all her energy when she warned Elucul. Now she feared the worst. The creature hisses and stared at Elucul with eyeless sockets. Elucul didn't move but was starring right back at the beast. And then something happened... As he locked eyes with it, it was as if they synced and became one. Elucul tilted his heads to the sides and so did the creature. He then lifted his claws and laid it on the creatures bony chest and the creature copied him. This most be the place where you died." [/i] From the air feeling tense and angry, it swifted into a sad atmosphere and Della thought for a second, that she could see sadness within the creatures eyes. You have hurt so many, I can sense it in this place."[/i] Elucul's claws locked on the Spirit chest. The spirit made a fast movement and hissed angrily at him. You will make peace now."[/i] Elucul tightens his grab and the spirit started to scream, an ear piercing scream. Elucul crushed the spirit's chest bones and it faded away. Only the rope from it's head was left, laying on the ground. The fog were gone and the air felt less tense. Della's jaw dropped, she couldn't believe what she had just witnessed.
