The new bugfix about effects interacting with the Invisibility Cloak made me think of a fandragon I have who's wearing the cloak because they're canonically invisible- adding the Sheen effect could be cute... if it does anything. Unfortunately, the shimmer is white, and so is the preview background on the effect page, so I have no idea if it'll actually show up!
If I apply a darker background to an invisible dragon, and then apply the Sheen effect, will it still play and be visible? Would be super cool if so.

I did a quick adjustment to the background color on the effect's Game Database page to test this for you, and unfortunately it looks like, at least currently, the sheen effect only works on any visible apparel items, and does not show up on the invisibility-cloaked dragon itself.

The Emperor's New Clothes doesn't add change anything about the dragon's image, so I can't imagine it would have an appreciable effect on how effects display!
