I'm in the same position with my first ever gen 1 hatch with Branches. I'm pretty sure I gave up collecting the materials at the end and started buying them lol

The dragon was 12kg itself, so breed, scroll, genes, eye type and skin is not that expensive in comparison xD

I saw Alastrim on the AH and impulse asked for a hold. Normally, large purchases like this I can easily do during, say, NotN. But I bought him back in like May. I still don't understand how I managed to get all the gems together to be able to pay for him.

i didn't note how much i spent on him to begin with so that i wouldn't remember... yknow, before the coatl breed change, genes, and UMA...

it's hard for me to fully comprehend that the only time i've managed to compel myself to shell out for a gem primary on a modern is... when you can *barely* see it. but it was still more than worth it because she's my favorite skydancer on the site [biased obviously <3]
