My biggest thoughts are, does the water not look good enough, does it not show off the tentacles enough on dark colors, or is it a subjective stylistic thing about changing the shape of the dragon too much?

I don’t make skins too much myself, but I do know that many jellyfish are bioluminescent meaning that they glow. So maybe darker, more detailed water like an abyss almost, then make the jellies glow. Also, jellyfish tentacles are also varying. They do have thin ones like you’ve shown, but they also have thicker, more squiggly ones?
