i can hear the pitter patter of feet upon my roof

many little pattering feet



i wonder, is somebody building a nest up there

or foraging for nuts

or seeds

or caching them?



spring seems so sudden

that robin is at it again

attacking the window

when he sees me he moves to another window

but now there are clouds, and

the bird is not there



it's quiet
