there's like a warning sign next to the "hatch" button and it wont let me hatch the eggs, why is that?

cannibalkittycat You don't have any space in your lair. You can't hatch any nests until you have at least two empty slots for the hatchlings to go in.
Nests never expire so you can leave them waiting to be hatched until you've made space or bought new slots :D
