@dizzyChorus For an explanation, Culex's guide was written back when Eliminates were far more common and less expensive*. It kept being recommended around because it was the most complete guide there was, but while it's still usable, at this point it's extremely outdated. When the rarity was fixed/nerfed, it was already very common, and thus the price rose more slowly. It wasn't until registration to the game opened entirely, creating a larger userbase, that the prices began to absolutely skyrocket. Eliminate's rarity has subsequently been adjusted again, but it's still pretty expensive for newer players, and since it's impossible to find in lower level venues— it starts dropping in the Blooming Grove, where when Culex's guide was written, it dropped as early as the Training Fields— it makes following the guide very tricky without spending money.
