That's the dragon's tertiary gene color. It won't show up unless you apply a tertiary gene.
It's not possible to change a single gene color. The only way to change a dragon's colors is with the Tri-Color Scatterscroll, which randomly scrambles all three of the colors.

Hi there, and welcome to FR!
The new color you are seeing on your dragon is called a Tertiary color. This is a randomly decided color when you create your first dragon since a Basic Tertiary (which she has) has no affect on the visual of the dragon.
The only way to change a dragon's colors is through the use of a [gamedb item=1566], which is an item that randomizes all three of your dragon's colors. Simply put, there's a huge change that if you use this item on your dragon that it will no longer retain any of its original colors. Besides this item, there is no way to manually change a dragon's colors.
Fortunately, Aqua as a tertiary isn't too bad! It matches some of White's accent colors.
