Much like the absolute legend of Moist, I've been trying to breed up the ugliest dragon i can possibly think of. I'm skirting around 'eyeburner' territory, but who knows! Maybe I'll dip my feet in for that wonderful radioactive tert. :P
I've had a lot of bad luck with Noodle Dad only granting me single-egg nests... the two exceptions were a loan to a friend's nest, and one unique case with a particular Tundra. Don't ask, lol.

First up are Curio and Amphitrite, who are actually quite nice dergs! Amphi has actually moved on to be a part of my (many... failed...) attempts at getting a XXX sapphire dragon. She's a dear. Curio's perfectly fine too, although a bit of an oddball given his parents. His son, though...

This is Ronald. Yes, he's named after Ronald McDonald. Look, when he hatched and I laid eyes upon his questionable primary-colored scheme, it was the perfect idea. I loved him, though, and he was the inspiration for this project to begin with.
I decided to pair him with this dragon, who I bought off a friend.

Her name's Mortis, cause she was ugly as death as a hatchling. (Also, the dark crackle on light primary made her look skeletal.) She came from a bit of an ugly nest herself, and thus seemed the perfect mate for dearest Ronald.

This is Rosie, Ronald and Mortis's firstborn. She's actually rather pretty, although I've not quite put my finger on what sort of apparel I'd like to get her. Maybe something Arcane-themed? [emoji=guardian confused size=1] For now, she's a WIP.
However, the true step two of the project is this guy: Digicore.

Now, Digicore is actually Rosie's half-brother--his mother is Shelly, who's a lovely XXX cyan... with the worst possible gene combination.
Digicore has a few children, but none of which are hideous enough to continue the procession of nastiness.

As of 8/13/21, his partners have been Chamaeleon, for a breeding project, Arryn, daughter of my male progen, and Ion.
I'm always on the hunt for ideas to make my dragons even worse, so if you have color combo ideas or apparel recommendations, I'd love to hear them. [emoji=guardian laughing size=1]

UPDATE TIME!
Turbo, the goofball above, got tangled into the Ugly Dragon Project and produced some FANTASTICALLY weird little kids! Picking back up from my previous post, we have...
[columns]

Three of those hatchlings have since been exalted, but one of their children became the next step...

Breakcore! This absolute Creacher continues Digi's trend of weird, EDM-themed names. :D This is the dragon who was paired with Turbo, and produced three eggs! All of which have not been exalted, as they are Naomi descendants. However I have been looking to rehome them...
...which brings me to her last hatchling, the only male of the three: Glitchstep.

This guy is pretty weird! Difficult to clothe, too. [emoji=pearlcatcher deadpan size=1] However, he's been good about giving me some strange kids, as the first nest (with the fantastic Minatory whom I was gifted by a discord-mate of Mercy's) gave me a lovely three eggs! The middle child of which has actually been on the front page, which is awesome.

And this is Baconator, who is a surprising Step 5! I knew as soon as I set eyes on her, she was the gal to continue the line... Her first nest, with my otherwise totally normal coatl Orook was promising, and I've since traded off two of her five (!) hatchlings to friends, who plan to scry the little weirdos into something truly meaty and fantastic. [emoji=guardian tongue size=1]
As for the continuation of the project... Her only son, this currently-unnamed Bacon-baby, is looking to be the next step... Maybe with a breed-change? He'd look pretty cool as a Wildclaw, for sure!

Arcanist only knows what kind of bizarre hatchlings we'll get in the upcoming nests...!

If you'd like to have a Bacon-baby, or otherwise participate in this wildness, go ahead and let me know! I'll set up a spreadsheet or something to keep track of the waitlist!
