Add an additional tile to the top/front/first position of the "daily tasks" section on the Which Waystone page that shows when either "Latest news" or "Site updates" has added something since a user last refreshed the main page.
Since the advent of the Waystone, it's more of a go-to location than the main page itself, so I often find I've done almost all my daily tasks before realizing an update has happened; I suspect other users are having the same experience.
