A few times now i have lost in the coliseum against some monster, and i should lose 5 energy each time. But i always stay at 50 energy, is this bug? Or does feeding keep their energy bars at full?

A few times now i have lost in the coliseum against some monster, and i should lose 5 energy each time. But i always stay at 50 energy, is this bug? Or does feeding keep their energy bars at full?
Currently losing energy from losses or fleeing in the coliseum is disabled.
Feeding will fill up their energy bars as energy decreases over time.
