I used to play this game a long time ago, but I eventually got worn down by my crushing social anxiety. But that's medicated now! And I learned another one of my IRL friends plays this game, so I figure that's enough social pressure to bring me back.
I've revamped my bio and forum sig to try something out, and stopped using my FR bio as a faux-MAL. I'm gonna try to RP as one of the OCs from the persistent world I've retreated to inside my head for the past 10 years.
Speaking of the world, I've currently got three stories I'd want to tell regarding it. They basically just have codenames and outlines for now, as writing is traumatic for me, but here's a rundown of each one:
Balance:
Main characters: Rho and Rin.
General tone: The psychological impact of childhood trauma.
Pilgrimage:
Main characters: ... (This story doesn't really have any main characters as I cycle through them too fast, but the character who sets the plot in motion is named Caecos)
General tone: What it means to find hope in a world that can - and will - kill you at any time.
Birthname:
Main characters: Andrew and Wurm
General tone: Questioning how valid a sense of self that is shaped by trauma can be, and the futile attempt to separate the intrinsic from the extrinsic.
Feel free to ask me about my world!
