This: (I had to sry because the offspring was exalted and I couldn`t get the image.) @YoshiLuigi If the parents have Black and Stone as their primary colors, that's actually a pretty wide color range according to the new color wheel!

Since any color between the two parent colors (taking the shortest distance around the wheel) is possible, that includes colors in the red/pink range! Pink happens to be almost smack dab in the middle between Stone and Black.

Eeeyup. Browns-red-pink-white-blacks. Curse of the colorwheel.

Ah. Still, it doesn`t really make sense though. You would kinda assume it would result in a grayish color instead of pink.

@YoshiLuigi Yeeeahh I agree; I think the frustrating problem of "where do we put pink/brown/white/black" (that @Deoxtri mentioned above) comes from the fact that most color wheels traditionally only do ROYGBIV (and everything in between) in order to have smooth transitions between colors and make sense.

Pink, white, black, and brown can't be included without the help of tints and/or shades, so if you want them all to exist on the wheel at once, either you dull down your entire wheel (or bring on the pastels), or you just gotta start brute-force shoving colors in there lol ^^;

Flight Rising took the latter option in order to include everything, and though there's multiple ways to arrange the colors to have them look decent at a glance, any one of them would result in SOME color pools that have awkward transitions like your stone + black = pink because of how colors work

@YoshiLuigi If you haven't seen it already, you can use Foresee Progeny in the scrying workshop to check possible offspring results, or preview hatchlings in the nesting grounds to avoid monstrosity babies. There's also this colour predictor site that shows you what range your pair is gonna get ^^

That is also why I love the color wheel, to be honest xD It picks a completely random color from the available pool of colors of the color wheel, which results in some pretty hilarious results.
