I had no idea what to expect from a slideshow game, but I had fun! The phone dialogue in particular worked well in a way I wasn't expecting. I think the only challenge for me was that the screen flashed each time I pressed a keyboard key while inputting the password.
It took me a moment to get the joke about different types of obelisks but I laughed out loud when I got it [emoji=snapper laughing size=1]

Juuust finished the room! I really enjoyed the game, and it was pretty satisfying to play an escape room/point and click that actually followed logic and not super specific and obscure reasoning lol.
SPOILERS
- on the lazer beam, when you zoom in on the bottom for the password puzzle and the panel slides off to reveal the floating keyboard; and then you zoom back out and the panel is back on? it would be a nice touch to make it so once you completed that puzzle, you'd be able to see the floating numbers from the zoomed out part c:
- the only time I needed to peek at the playthrough was for the bookmark puzzle.... not because I had the wrong answer or anything, but I got the mechanics for the game mixed up. I knew I needed to zoom in on the bookshelf, but I didn't think to click on the item, so I got stuck lol
- I liked how the change in frequency from the increase in magic levels showed up on the computer thing, that was a nice little touch!!
- lastly, the dialogue was super cute, especially between Smark and the shadow snapper!!! sounded realistic and engaging :)

I just finished playing through the game and, as someone who really enjoys escape rooms, I was really impressed by how beautifully this translated to a PowerPoint Presentation. I loved reading the little bits of dialogue between Mr. Smark and Shadow Snapper, as well as the actual escape elements. i was surprised at just how well the concept translated into a powerpoint. the amount of work that must've gone into creating and linking each unique slide is incredible! the controls were easy and intuitive to use, and i greatly appreciated the clarity of the dialogue and the way shadow snapper responded to various actions. it helped dramatically in not getting lost or confused in the puzzle. the artwork and dialogue is incredibly charming, and i love the way all the different characters are portrayed even with as brief as the game was. the phone especially was a very nice touch, and i really enjoyed shadow snapper and mr. smark's interactions

Dara the Shadow Mage ends her sentence in a high pitch of shock and disbelief, taking a few steps past Shadow Snapper and towards the destroyed door.
"Sorry! I couldn't think of another way out!" Shadow Snapper squeaked.
Dara stared at the door for another couple silent seconds, before turning back to Shadow Snapper. "Well," she leans down to look at him, "you look unharmed. Are you feeling alright? No magical mishaps?"
Shadow Snapper nods firmly. "Oh, but Miss Dara, I came to tell you about the shadows. The darkness is growing!"
Dara stands up straight, and nods grimly. "We've noticed, and we're working on curbing the spread of the darkness. All those artifacts in the room, we think they might be able to help us discover what is causing the spread and how to stop it."
Shadow Snapper nods, hesitates, then asks, "Can I help?"
Dara seems amused, then tilts her head in reconsideration, and her expression softens. "Well, you did find your way out of the room, and I was told that you spoke to Mr Smark over the phone. He's the leader of the Oculus, did you know that? He's a very powerful and wise mage. I think you impressed him, and I think you'll be hearing from him in the future. But for now, go on, explore your new magical powers, and you'll hear from us again in the future."
Shadow Snapper beams in delight and bounces his way back into the open Shadow air. Maybe he'll fight a shadow or two himself, figure out just what his new powers can do.[/i]
