I've been on this website forever and am trying to invest time into it on and off.. I remember being shown FR back when the site was doing limited signup blocks in like 2014. How time flies...
FUN FACT: In Michael Jackson's Beat It, for the bridge of the song, it is Eddie Van Halen himself that shreds the guitar right in the middle. Eddie originally thought it was a prank call, but when he discovered it really was Jackson's label, he said he'd do the guitar solo on the condition he was completely uncredited. Supposedly the only credit he got was a six pack!

coincidentally, i have my own ~positive life event~ happening in less than twelve hours. :-) in the early hours of tomorrow morning, i will be induced to have my (first) baby! i am incredibly excited, nervous, weirdly half calm but also half wired... i'm feeling all the emotions. no idea how i'm going to be able to sleep tonight. our incubating experience (lol) has been apparently easier than it is for most according to the internet. i am so grateful for that! our lives will be changing in a massive way but i am ready for the challenge. it's such a strange thought that i joined this website when i was a teenager and now i'm becoming a mother! FR better stay alive at least until she's old enough to join. <3

it was my first proper notn this year, and i've been having a lot of fun so far! i have a really bad habit of burning myself out of games and other activities, so its really helped me with regularly logging onto the site again :)

Good thing that happened to me recently is that I passed a class I was certain I would fail! The professor said they wouldn't curve the grade but they changed their mind. A classmate told me that our version of the class had more coursework than others (taught by different professors) so I think that's what saved me.
I still don't understand how finite state machines work but that's okay because C's get degrees <3
