TOPIC | How do you obtain the Soil gene?

Primary Gene: Soil can be found in the fifth stage of Arlo's Ancient Artifacts, which is unlocked upon reaching level 5 in Archaeology Experience. If you're not there yet, you can also buy it off other players in the Auction House.
For future reference, the Game Database lists the ways you obtain every item in the game!

can you specify which plot on Fossilised Fauna you can get it?
Sorry if I sound a bit lazy but I've noticed that the pickaxes seem to like to 'avoid' certain plots (at least for me) and I want to keep a hold on as meny picks for the other stages (and also speed up yoinking the gene - why buy when you can dig for free :D?)

@MossiSeabunni The genes are the two largest plots on Fossilized Fauna. Soil can be found on the 9th plot, and Loam is on the 18th!
The plot will look something like this, for reference.
