1. What would you say is your most memorable crafty project, and why?
For a few years in a row one of my friends has co-written an ongoing fanfic and had parts of it illustrated by some incredible artists for a big writing event in their fandom - and for their birthday I decided to turn it into a proper hand bound book! It was the first bookbinding project I had done since I was a young teenager, so it turned out a little messy, but my friend loved it regardless :D I can't wait for them to finish the third and final act so I can have another go at it.

Hi!! So excited to give folks the extra push/opportunity to pick up some new hobbies :]c
If possible, would you be able to share your prompt answers as individual posts since the date that they're posted relates to how many tickets are awarded? I'm going to do my best to keep up with tallying everyone's tickets but I'd hate to accidentally give you fewer tickets than what you actually earned n_n;;

prompt #1
What would you say is your most memorable crafty project, and why?
it must not be memorable since i cant remember it at all
??If you haven’t crafted anything before, have you seen an art piece that was especially striking? What about it caught your eye?
someone crochet a mini daikon (and added makeup blush on the cheeks) and put it inside the tiniest clay flowerpot and sold it as a set.

Ok. So. When this event ran before, I learned how to sew and made my first simple dragon plushie!
I then kept playing with it - making a version with two wings, a version with four legs:

a version with a belly panel, a chubby one... and then I made this big baby:

He is hand-sewed because I didn't have a machine yet. He has a few younger siblings now, but he's now my pillow. His eyes are tiger's eye agate!
Cats with it for reference:

So fun! I don't have time (or fabric!) for any handicrafts this December, but I'd love to answer the prompts and see what everyone else makes.
@Kivovis
Your little minky dragon is SO cute.
@Mitraxti
Wow, do you have any pictures of the rest of the plushes? The fabric is very busy so it's hard to make out the silhouette, but I'd love to see more of them!

I've had a number, but fr-wise I'm proudest of my pushpin mirror project, made out of an old pair of denim jeans with poseable head fins. I had a thread about it in FRD and finished him over the span of a day and a half because I was feeling inspired.

Cordially (a submission)
I made a little guy!!! Misunderstood the pattern a little bit so he's kinda scrunchy but I love him anyways <3
Next step is to make a candle for him to hold in those long front legs and a friend to keep him company.

A tiny little buddy, made of scraps and stuffed with scraps. Not stuffed well but small scraps are a little tricky to work with. The key is cutting them smaller but i was lazy.
Other angles of the same lil guy
