Sarval and Birdwatcher are on pretty good terms, with Sarval finding Birdwatcher's energy and enthusiasm helpful to bounce ideas off of. Misfortune and Birdwatcher aren't as close as one would expect given the current clutch, she finds their desire for constant interaction tiring. She's alright with Sarval, but doesn't care that much for him either.

[center][color=indigo][size=6][b]Day Fifteen[/b][/color][/size] [size=1]@Azureus[/size] ----- Today's Item: [item=Fuiran Claws] Writing[/center] ----- Today's writing isn't going to be posted here, unfortunately- I've been doing some work on the behind-the-scenes rules I've laid out for the more horror-y aspects of my plans here, but it's hard to show those off without playing my hand earlier than I intend to. The good news is, I'm pretty sure I've gotten my rules fully updated to include the new breeds who needed it! As an aside, I'm making an alteration to the death streak rules in line with those of my previous Pinkerlocke attempt! Death streaks that are averted will allow me ten battles on the easymode rules, now, so hopefully that'll let me level weaker dragons in the future a little more safely on occasion.

[center][color=indigo][size=6][b]Day Sixteen[/b][/color][/size] [size=1]@Azureus[/size] ----- Today's Item: [item=Chewy Tentacle] Coli- 30-40 Matches[/center] ----- We hit level 6 today, so we'll be working our way up through the Coli areas for real now! Between that and tomorrow being hatching day for our nest, I'm quite excited. [emoji=veilspun happy size=1]

[center][color=indigo][size=6][b]Day Seventeen[/b][/color][/size] [size=1]@Azureus[/size] ----- Today's Item: [item=Cracked Leather] Writing[/center] ----- ...Well. Both of the coinflips came up tails, so that's a bit of a wash on the new dragons front. Great for narrative though!!! ----- Two hatchlings. She should have had two hatchlings- she laid two eggs, and with Sarval's worries about if they were in a place with [i]any[/i] elemental energies they had endeavored to keep them warm and well-protected at all times. She had every reason to expect two tiny boglets (or two microscopic spirals) to be taking their first steps in her nest right now. Two hatchlings, to raise and care for. But the eggs no longer had a pulse. Two eggs (two hatchlings) lay in their paltry bedding, cold and dim and [i]dull[/i] in a way she had never had the misfortune of seeing before. Two empty eggs. When Birdwatcher cracked the first open, their scrabbling claws desperate to find a heartbeat that wasn't there, all three dragons had seen the contents in perfect clarity- a perfectly formed baby Spiral. Beautiful. Cold. Lifeless. Misfortune didn't sleep that night. She couldn't bear to see the hatchling (her hatchling) the other egg might have borne. [center][color=indigo][size=6][b]Day Nineteen[/b][/color][/size] [size=1]@Azureus[/size] ----- Today's Item: [item=Cumulus Seal] New Dragon[/center] ----- We've rolled a 15, so the clan is gaining an Obelisk! (As a side note, I'm changing the roll setup a little to fix how rare any given Ancient breed is in it right now- with the new version, they'll still be rarer than the modern breeds, but the chances of getting one should be a [i]bit[/i] more reasonable.) [center][color=indigo][size=6][b]Day Twenty[/b][/color][/size] [size=1]@pinglist-41736[/size] ----- Today's Item: [item=Purple Birdskull Armband] Breed/Gene a Dragon[/center] ----- Given that the clan's only female member is on cooldown right now, it's just a gene day today! Birdwatcher's getting their Flair, putting them 2/3rds of the way to being fully gened up. In other news, I've updated the pinglist to the new(er) system!

[center][color=indigo][size=6][b]Day 21[/b][/color][/size] [size=1]@pinglist-41736[/size] ----- Today's Item: [item=Calico Chimera] 40-50 Coli Matches[/center] ----- It's our first set of battles in the Woodland Path, and this one's a bit of a doozy! Sarval's taken another injury, though thankfully he healed from his last one already. As a result, I'm going to be adjusting my build plans for... well, everyone... to be actual, real Coli builds- I forgot how scary the Coli is without them! On the bright side, the starters are all level 7 now, so they'll actually [i]have[/i] Eliminate access the moment I've got enough copies for all of them- I've gone ahead and put one each on Birdwatcher and Sarval.
