First,
In order to try a skin/accent on a scry of a dragon, you have to save the scry in an area with limited slots, go to the dressing room, find the scry, and type in the skin code for it to show up. If this is a dragon you'll only buy if it works with the skin, you aren't necessarily dressing it, or ever going to look at the dragon again. It's a bloated, convoluted system added on to something it was not made for. We need a dedicated system to testing skins and accents.
Second,
We still cannot test skins on hatchling scries. It's been too long since this feature has been rolled out to not have this option.
Third,
Searching for skins in the AH is difficult at best. If updated to include the options offered in the game database, it would improve functionality dramatically.

yes to all of these, but especially the first, it's such a pain! i also hate that when you go to view an outfit on another dragon or morphology, the skin automatically disappears and you have to re-add it. at least make it so that this only happens if it's an incompatible breed/pose

The second one I believe is actually being worked on, as they have mentioned it a few times

Fourth: I am aware that there is already a skin attached, please just replace the one attached with the one I clicked on. Please don't make me unequip it every time.
- Support 100% your points. I'd especially love a way to search skins in the dressing room as well.

I support because basic QoL for all of these.

If writers are supposed to "show not tell," why are we called "storytellers" and not "storyshow-ers"?
Yeah the first one is especially cumbersome/inaccessible if you’re trying to scry a dragon to wear an accent/figure out what dragon you want to breed for/hunt down for it.
i imagine they thought we’d just save over the scry over and over when trying things out but that’s not how it functions in practice. if you want to compare a bunch of variations, many individual scrys makes the most sense because refreshing a saved over scry in the dressing room takes so long it’s not practical for comparison. plus you naturally wanna compare before deleting.
then even once you decide on something you have to scroll, delete, scroll, delete the bajillion scrys you made one by one because most recent scrys aren’t displayed at the top and there’s no way to mass-delete scrys. it really makes no sense and impedes community dressing/scrying and potentially accent sales if re-skin ever gets banned. i shouldn’t have to save someone’s dragon to help dress/find accents for it. there’s definitely a reason the accent preview (re-skin) everyone uses functions off copied images > scrys.
would like to see a system where you can scry under an accent THEN export that to the dressing room. and even then accents need to be tied to the outfits they’re saved to. they shouldn’t disappear (forcing you to hunt down the accent and re-enter the number since they’re listed by name, not number) when you try that outfit on a different breed/pose compatible dragon/scry.

I just wish the scrying workshop and the dressing room were combined into one large customization area.
Also, while we're at it, can we get a fix for the glitch where the apostrophes in some skin names turn into "'" when you click the button to check the AH.

I came here to say what Oraanu said. It would be much more efficient if Predict Morphology and the Dressing Workshop were combined into one. I'd also like if you could search skins by skin name/artist rather than purely ID, like in the game database. Personally, I avoid the dressing room because I find it irritating to make morphologies, find an outfit in dressing room, change the morphology to better match the outfit in scrying workshop, then update it in the dressing room, back and forth. Especially when throwing random scries together to test accents and having to save a bunch of new morphologies.
Honestly, I can see the merged concept in my mind pretty easily - genes on the right, apparel/skin slots on the left, dragon preview in the middle, potentially even with functionality to try out the reflection scrolls too. I think that would be the perfect final form of that part of the site.
