@WoahThereBud you can get Genes to change your dragon's appearance on the Marketplace (where they're sold for flat, standard prices), or on the Auction House (where they're sold by other players)! There are other ways to get genes as well— I recommend checking out the Game Database tab to see how to get the Genes you'd like!!

@WoahThereBud that's fair, from what I can tell you're still pretty early in the game! Don't worry, you'll get to a point where the genes are affordable soon enough I'm sure! My favorite way to make money is grinding the Coliseum, but there's a lot of guides on how to do it in other ways too!

@aquaspider how do i make money in the coliseum? i made a team of dragons but it was confusing so i mostly use the minigames in the fairgrounds tab

@WoahThereBud You can sell the things monsters drop there, as well as level-up dragons for exalting (higher level dragons earn better exalt rewards!)! I highly recommend checking out some threads in the Guide section of the forums. My favorites are:
