Looking up from the nest, Mayumi froze as Mii'Vier's aura washed over her senses. "The portal worked... It's so good to see you again mother," she said once she regained herself, "The family can be whole once more. Where's father?"

"Tel is still at home. The war cot him a wing and leg after you and Kor disappeared. I will bring him later, but he needs his rest right now," Mii'Vier said, looking over the two hatchlings with a smile, "The Vitae Fair within them is strong. Such as it should be for one with the soul of a flarion. Kelan has blessed them."

"No need to run off little one. Mayumi will need to tend to her little ones. Be them flarions or a local breed of this world, they need their mother during the first few days. I have seen them, and that is enough for me at this point," Mii'ver said, turning to Nox, "Besides, you can help me still. I may be able to sense where Kor is, but I have no clue of this place's layout. Knowing where he is only gives me a destination."

"If you don't mind dear, can you please escort my mother to the food stores? Kor should still be there picking out the right foods to prepare our hatchlings' first meal," Mayumi said, laying her head among the softly crying hatchlings, "As mother said though, I need to stay with the little ones, at least until Kor gets back. So long as one of us is with them, they'll be fine."
