I'm so glad to get feedback from ya'll! This has been very helpful! Which ones would people say are the easiest? Admittedly I've never really played any Dungeon crawlers before, so this would be my first jump into the genre, with no prior experience, so something on the easier side might be more my thing for my first Mystery Dungeon game.

I'm so glad to get feedback from ya'll! This has been very helpful! Which ones would people say are the easiest? Admittedly I've never really played any Dungeon crawlers before, so this would be my first jump into the genre, with no prior experience, so something on the easier side might be more my thing for my first Mystery Dungeon game.
while i agree that Sky has the best story by far, going back to it after playing the new ones feels extremely rough. the newer games like Super and Rescue Team DX made huge strides in their quality of life! if you decide to play the new games first and then decide you want to play the older ones, you’ll have a painful time getting used to the dated controls.
While Super and DX will probably be easiest to play because of their gameplay improvements, I managed to learn and engage with the older games perfectly fine even when i was in middle school. they were my first dungeon crawlers ever, and are still the only ones i regularly engage with.
Whichever game you end up playing, I hope you have fun!!
