So I am relatively new here but have decided to start my first breeding project. I'm aiming for a Navy/Stonewash/Leaf, Fern of just pale yellow in general. However, it appears that this isn't a very popular colour combination, so I'm struggling to find dragons on the AH that meet these specifications. I have tried searching, but most of the dragons that meet these requirements are owned by inactive members. From memory, there was a G1 that the owner had said they would be willing to make offers on that had similar colours, but I'm not really sure I can afford the extra expenses that come with this, so for now I'd rather buy any dragons that appear on the AH. Also, I want them to be in Wind (and preferably male, too), so I'll have to seek out the services of a Nest Network member, but I'm not really at which point this will be worthwhile. Yeah, I did see him. I’m not really sure if I can be bothered getting the 50,000 treasure breed change scroll though. Thank you for commenting!

If you don't mind me asking, what breed are you aiming for?

when i did a breeding project, i breed changed everyone to 15 day cooldown breeds so i would have the quickest cooldowns possible. then just used breed change and gene scrolls (and silhouette scroll) at the end.

for the colors, you'll probably need to start further away and narrow down as you go. so this might mean multiple generations, for which you'll need multiple breeding pairs. i had 10-20 breeding pairs going at one time for my own project. this isn't uncommon.

for an example, i went 2 colors off both directions on an AH search - found this one for 10kt

you can save AH searches and you can have color ranges, so you def want to be searching that way regularly. i checekd daily for my own project and often found dragons.

you may also want to focus on two colors at a time, then work on narrowing down the third later. again, could take multiple generations.

idk if it is publicly shared anywhere but i also used a breeding project calculator - a google sheet that calculated the percentages to tell me which dragons i had would have the best odd of what i was looking for. this was immensely helpful and my project would not have been possible without it.

if it were me, i would snag any for 10 g/kt or less and consider them as possibilities.
