ShakuraKazuki is my pride an joy. Not only is he based on my most beloved and oldest OC/persona, but he is a really rare color combo as well! Only 1 other exalted dragon with it exists. And It took me ONE breeding to get him! And his two siblings got slightly other colors, keeping him unique.

The one I changed the most (in terms of applying genes and stuff) is definitely Banana!

I bought him (her) off the auction as an adult for 50 gems, and then bought a scroll of eternal youth, adding up to 400 gems in total for him (her) to look like this.

I'm really proud of Strings! She used to be a tundra, I got all her genes, but was starting to feel kind of meh about her. Changed her to a guardian and she has my heart again! She's required quite a bit of work and treasure xD

I've actually got a crazier and lengthier and extremely difficult project in progress, however that one has not succeeded and might very well never succeed, so for now...
Six generations of dragons over six months culminated in this most superior dragon:

This is one of very few projects where I managed to breed in every single gene AND the breed. AND I was lucky enough to land a cool ID in the progress, one of my very first special ID dragons.
I drew a literal family tree to keep my dragons in order and charts to identify which dragons should be bred with which other dragons.
I am very impressed by those who design skins for specific dragons, including the coatl earlier in this thread. And I totally identify with the breeding projects that take literal years to succeed (on top of needing to afford some sometimes very expensive apparel and skins and genes and whatnot!).

I don't usually post her for forum games, but Hestia was my first G1 project dragon ever! Took me foreverrr to figure out a good look for her, but she inspired my entire Greek mythos fandragon tab once I figured her out :3 i love her very much, i think she's neat. her ID # is 69691166 which is also... so cool! i love unique IDs
