Minor cons for me:
-the wings
-no small head horns
The pros for me:
+I like that their small burrowing dragons.
+I do like most of the design.
+Spore is my favorite tertiary gene for them.
+They are one of my favorite ancients regardless of minor cons.
My hopes for genes:
+I would like to see more dinosaur genes. I want ankylosaurus genes.

Oh goodness, I'm not sure I know where to start. Personally I like that they keep the integrity of a dragon design while also being unique and very obviously Earthy. And can we just talk about how round they are... it's perfect. Also, their unique genes are amazing! Coil and Spores are my two favourites.

I love how big and bulky they look! Little pangolins...
I can't believe how excited I am about these little guys! The encyclopedia entry about their eager go-go-go, outgoing and friendly demeanors won me over even more. :') the bald heads and simple shading on the triple basic ones made me unsure at first, but they grew on me FAST when I started actually experimenting with their unique genes. Simple lines works for how busy and pretty the genes are, I love coil/strike and petrified/lode SO much. I wish I had more terts I liked, but it's so far just made me creative and limit how many breed changes I'm buying, so...it's actually a good problem to have for my wallet, and I'm sure they'll get an event tert soon.
After over a DECADE on this site and keeping my progens their OG breeds, my little 6 digits finally have gotten their first ever breed changes. It just FITS! (Even with the "we were always around" side of the ancient lore, too!)
Here are my progens, only my custom is done so far tho, I keep scatter scrolling my poor random one:
