She's been itching for some excitement since the race started, vouching for herself to be the one who uses her ability first in round one. After seeing her teammate Noloben masterfully use her abilities in turn, she's become a bit more passive throughout the race, quite impressed by her skills. But that seems to have broken away a bit once this round occurred. Seeing Lolth use Swarming Attack on the two teams in front, being able to move forward quickly also impressed her! Soon after, seeing Ante from team C shoot back ahead after the wonderfully tactical use of Strange Mutation has her excited by just how interesting this event turned out to be. She couldn't help but to break her silent persona and burst out laughing. [i]"hehehe.. Hahaa!! Well done! Well done!"[/i] She turns to her comrades. [i]"Well friends, it appears our opponents have quite a bit of fight in them. We've been clawing for a distance ourselves impressively.. but it's so fun to know they're very quick to bounce back."[/i] She turns her attention to the now distancing team C. She smirks, and can't help reveal a toothy smile soon after. Normally none would be able to see it, but she's uncovered her face that's usually blocked by her hood once the race started. [i]"But this isn't over just yet. We may be last now, but I don't think we should be counted out so soon.."[/i] She glances glances away from Team C and fixes her eyes on Team A, seeing that they're right on their heels. She can't help but snicker to herself, seeing that they're slowly but surely gaining speed. [i]"We're closing the distance... I feel like we won't be last for much longer..."[/i] She turns to her teammates once again. Showing a bit more of a sweeter smile. [i]"Let's not give up just yet friends.. Seeing Lolth use Swarming Attack on the two teams in front, being able to move forward quickly also impressed her! Soon after, seeing Ante from team C shoot back ahead after the wonderfully tactical use of Strange Mutation has her excited by just how interesting this event turned out to be. She couldn't help but to break her silent persona and burst out laughing.

"hehehe.. Hahaa!! Well done! Well done!"

She turns to her comrades.

"Well friends, it appears our opponents have quite a bit of fight in them. We've been clawing for a distance ourselves impressively.. but it's so fun to know they're very quick to bounce back."

She turns her attention to the now distancing team C. She smirks, and can't help reveal a toothy smile soon after. Normally none would be able to see it, but she's uncovered her face that's usually blocked by her hood once the race started.

"But this isn't over just yet. We may be last now, but I don't think we should be counted out so soon.."

She glances glances away from Team C and fixes her eyes on Team A, seeing that they're right on their heels. She can't help but snicker to herself, seeing that they're slowly but surely gaining speed.

"We're closing the distance... I feel like we won't be last for much longer..."

She turns to her teammates once again. Showing a bit more of a sweeter smile.

"Let's not give up just yet friends.. You've been doing marvelously.. We've still got a shot in this."

She's for certain they're now wondering what to do next, as this is still quite a predicament. She takes a long pause to consider the options herself before chatting with the others to come to a decision.

"Wonderful news contestants! My dear assistant has seen to the return of my silverware! Let's see what you all have been getting up to while I was preoccupied..."

Team Boats's Disco is sure making an impression today, look at that stylish obelisk go! I can hardly look away folks, but I'm afraid must in order to report Team B gains 10 spaces with that spectacular performance!

Team D's mirror, Yori, is working hard to keep their team motivated and on track, even as that pack of Wraith Hounds has come out of the woodwork to bother them (and the rest of us I suppose). Team D gains 7 spaces!

Team E is looking rather comfortable there at the top of the pack, so much so they're once again able to use their nocturne scroll as they slip by without an attack. Team E gains 10 whole spaces!

And- oh my, it looks like both Team A and Team C had their respective aberrations bracing for an attack that never came, I suppose the other teams had their attention elsewhere this round. Neither Team A nor Team C gain any extra spaces.

"I'LL GIVE A PENNY TO ANYONE WHO LANDS A HIT ON THAT DISORIENTED SPIRIT!!"

Ooh this round is a bumpy one, as Team C's spiral has decided Team E has been too comfortable with their lead so far. Those magic briars sure do put a damper on things as Team E loses 8 spaces and Team C gains 4!

Following that lovely start, Team A's wildclaw, Madel, makes a surprise appearance! Are those.... chickens attacking the other wagons? Neato! Team D loses 2 spaces, Team C loses 4, Team B loses 8, and Team A gains a lovely 7 spaces!

Teams B and D are quickly making the time lost to the attack chickens quickly thanks to the encouragement and protective might of their mirrors however. Team B gains 9 spaces and Team D gains 6!

Well, it looks like Team E's nocturne scroll won't let them slip ahead this round thanks to those attacks, Team E gains no additional spaces.

Not a single attack really came from her, but Ichor WAS throwing copious amounts of rocks and ordinary pine cones at it... so that would surely keep its attention on her, right?

Disco lets out a war cry when she sees the disoriented spirit, clawing her way to the crow's nest to join Ichor in launching projectiles.

Except hers are tightly packed balls of (totally biodegradable, don't WORRY about it) rainbow glitter. They stream trails of it, almost glowing against the tangling shadows, as they fly through the air. About half miss their target and go wide, but Disco doesn't care. She's totally spreading joy, don't you know? Who doesn't like glitter?

The big spirit looks mean, but if she can make it happy enough (or blind enough) to stop attacking their boat, well, she'll be satisfied.

We're coming up on the circus grounds, who will pull their wagon to the finish line first?!

Oh boy this is going to be a rough round. Starting off strong with a skydancer scroll, Team C swaps rolls with Team D! Team C gains 6 spaces and Team D loses 6!

Team A's wildclaw manages to hit both of the teams in front of them. Team D loses 2 spaces, Team E loses 4, and Team A gains 3 spaces!

Team E's mirror, Mallory, gives her best attempt at a final bout of encouragement, granting her team 9 more spaces!

But what's this?! Coming up from behind is Team B and their bogsneak! Team B saps Team E for a devastating 14 spaces lost!! This grants Team B an additional 5 spaces!

Finally, Team D attempts to make up for lost time using their aberration to recover from those sequential attacks earlier. Team D gains an extra 10 spaces!
