Introductions

Hey, everyone! I used to play Flight Rising back in 2014/2015 before I abruptly quit the game because I had no time for it outside of work, high school, and college classes. Then life hit me when I turned 18: I met my current husband, unexpectedly became pregnant, and moved to an entirely new state all within a year. Now, I've been raising three lovely children who are all in school at this point, so I have a lot of free time on my hands. I recently joined a discord server for a self-care pet app, where I met the lovely Tobi (Meoauniaea on FR), who reintroduced me to Flight Rising. I completely forgot how much I actually love this website and it is so exciting to see all the new dragon species. I can't thank them enough for introducing me back to Flight Rising and love breeding all the new species. Some past information about me: I used to be big into virtual pets and I was on sites like Chickensmoothie, Dragcave, Eggcave, Lioden, Howrse, etc. I discovered Flight Rising with a few of my friends on Xanje and quickly moved over here, but I'm assuming by now life has gotten to them and they're no longer active on here. Those websites, I used to always go by the names marshall lee. or marshy; so, if you know me, hi I'm back! I was also big into roleplaying and migrated from the Feralfront/Warriorcats website to Xanje when the original owner first created the website (yes, I was one of the OG Xanje members). Hi there, I’m BunnySox; welcome back to FR!!

It seems you're well on your way to finding everything, but just in case...

Here’s a few quick tips you might find useful…

• there are free dragons everywhere...check the Raffles & Giveaways forums…
  
• keep your dragons well-fed, over 80% at all times, to get your daily well-fed bonuses
  
• Mama’s Soup Kitchen gives out free food daily, to help new (and returning) players (currently closed, but keep checking back; and your Flight might have a Food Bank or similar)
  
• give each dragon a Familiar & bond with Familiars daily, for a bit of treasure and some chests as they level up
  
• Which Waystone (Library menu, left) suggests activities and tasks for you, helping you explore the vast world of Sornieth
  
• under Library / Forums, 1st column, halfway down, are your Plague Flight-only forums. Introduce yourself to your fellow "Germs" and see what goodies / assistance your Flight offers their new players
  -- if you Discord, this is where you request server access
• Guide to FR Abbreviations will help you understand forum-speak xd

FR is a very friendly and generous community, and we love helping new players learn game mechanics quickly, so that you can just ENJOY being here.

p.p.s. I always like to tell returning players... if you're thinking of rehoming/exalting dragons greater than 3 years old, you might want to know that older dragons have become increasingly valuable and collectible as the game has been going for so long, and the old dragons, once they're exalted out of the game, can never be replaced.

So before you sell or exalt an "oldie," there are lots of oldies rehoming services that can help you sell your dragons or sell them for you, in keeping with their collectible value. You might want to check them out.
