I'm not a big fan of most ancients, but oh my lord I LOVE Aberrations! Love, love, love them!! This is NyAlesund, named after Ny-Ålesund, the northernmost settlement in the world located on the island of Spitsbergen in Svalbard, Norway. Originally I could not decide between the names NyAlesund or Helsinki, and the name NyAlesund was mostly chosen because of my love for the Magnus Archives. In the Magnus Archives a group devoted to the supernatural entity known as The Dark were planning a ritual in Ny-Ålesund because of how dark it is for a chunk of the year. He was born in my clan, and is thus a Water dragon, so I like to think he's part of a subspecies of Aberrations or Aberration-like dragons that crawled out of the Leviathan Trench. Here's a couple of mine, that I switched from a Mirror Dragon and A Fae Dragon that was one of my first Dragons. I had a hard time choosing since I changed four of my dragons but ended up choosing these two because they look really impressive to me. Changed from Fae Dragon and one of my lairs first dragons. This is Killiam he was one of my first two dragons to my lair next to Crimzon and at one point was Exalted but then brought back because I missed having him around... I have changed his color scheme two or three times if memory serves right before he ended up like this for Aberration: [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/189311][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/1894/189311_350.png[/img][/url] Changed from Mirror Dragon. This is Blaza we were originally a Mirror I bought off the market because well... I didn't have too many Mirrors but loved her colors. It took a bit once I changed her to find out what genes I wanted before I settled on this. She looks really good in these colors: [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/60240212][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/602403/60240212_350.png[/img][/url] In the Lair of mine, she and Killiam are mates in a story I have been trying to flesh out for a while. Both are portrayed as information gatherers/assassin-like beings in the hierarchy of the Lair I have been coming up with. They are close to the Lair leaders but are usually depicted as quiet and can melt into their surroundings making people think they ever existed in the first place. Being the observant types they can see trouble before it reaches them and in turn, they use the gift to protect their own. (Yeah I know it goes against the lore of Aberration Dragons but these were not always Aberration Dragons and I tend to think old habits from their previous lives as something else can interfere with the draon types that they are.)
