So now I'm unsure if I should keep my first hatch or give em away somewhere else. I wanna keep them cause I bought the egg (and I HATCHED IT and I'm sentimental like that lol) but I don't really want both and I really like the second one. I for one like violet so I gave the first one a go, it wasn't as hard as I was afraid it would be but all the REALLY pretty stuff costs an arm and a leg. I tried to pick scries on the more attainable side haha
Ground looks nice without bringing in any tan:

technically not hatches, but for a pinkerlocke i decided to start with two of my gen1, some which are definitely less unfortunate, but ended up with these two i was supposed to exalt. i guess it's lucky they got saved that way, but oh boy.

Not perfect but I tried! When in doubt for rough color combos I lean towards fade/blend because of the extra hues it can incorporate. I don’t think hope is lost, no dragon’s colors are unsalvageable!

As for unfortunate G1, I hatched a lot of eggs over NoN and recently to try to make Aberrations and most of them left me dissatisfied. A lot weren't completely terrible, but just in that mediocre "I don't think this scry is worth the cost for me" territory.

This is probably my least favorite, kind of sad because he has matching eyes and close secondary/tert, but the Amethyst/Tomato combo is not appealing to me no matter what I do. Lol
