Happy Thundercrack Carnivale! I love the apparel (& the recolour!), and the stone familiars is such a cute theme. The skins and accents are also lovely. Canyon Crawler and Atomic Bonding are my favorite.

I feel this. I'm honestly disappointed with the variety of skins this year. The artists all did amazing jobs, but it seems like every year we stray closer towards the winners being a mass of sparky lightning with almost no variation on that theme whatsoever. There were a lot of creative entries this year and it's sad that most of the ones that won had the same theme. Happy for the winners though!

i agree with this - the choices are very beautiful and well done, but they also look like some we already have and don't leave a lot to work with in terms of genes/apparel. not to mention most of the time when picks get criticized (not artists, but the dev picks) the thread ends up getting locked/edited and it's kind of not fair since the users dont have a say in what skins get picked (this is what the third time a thread got locked for skins?)
that being said i do like the most of the picks for this year, i wont be using them as of yet because i dont have any dragons for them and too many projects but i have a dragon i'd eventually like to make using [gamedb item=40655] and [gamedb item=35386]
