I don't leave the house all that often, unless I'm running to the gas station or something, but on the rare occasion that I do, I go all out with my makeup. Red lips, cat eyes, the whole shebang. I have this amazing lip crayon by Nars, in the shade Cruella [link], that doesn't smear or anything, lasts forever, and has a beautiful matte finish. For everything else, I usually just use drugstore products. I was really into Kat von D's Lock It Tattoo foundation, but I just ran out and didn't feel like shelling out the $35 to buy more. They discontinued my shade anyway, sobs. On my eyes, I usually go with really natural brown or occasionally black eyeshadow, winged liquid liner, and Falsies mascara. I find that drugstore mascara can be just as good as the really expensive stuff, so I don't go for the really pricey brands. A tiny bit of blush and some contouring of my cheeks and I'm done!~

@Shakenzie that lip pencil looks amazing ! I love shades like that a lot and I wear them almost always when i go out. I think you're right about mascaras it's definitely thing I never considered buying high end because drugstore ones are just as good.

I used to be super appalled by makeup when I was younger. I was either afraid of being "too girly" or growing up too fast, or both. Now, I can really appreciate it!
My standard is BB Cream foundation, Bare Minerals foundation (again)/cover-up/mineral veil. Nyx lip pencil, Nyx eye pencil/marker, Revlon eyeshadow, and a clear Maybeline mascara on my eyebrows. It makes them defined without making them too dark!
As for mascara and lipstick, I honestly just use the generics that I get at Ulta beauty supply. I also tend to mix lipsticks together to get the color that I want.
This was when I had an Elsa-inspired look for the day last semester! And it's honestly one of my best tries at eye makeup.

Anywho, I've always had issues with certain textures for some reason. I could never do lip gloss. It just...bothered me. Anyone else have/had this? Also, is there anything for lips that gives the look of a gloss without the wet/creamy texture? Thanks!

@Critter you look great !! I feel the same about lipglosses sometimes even too much of lipbalm bothers me I prefer using just lip pencil to stain my lips the color and that's it
I was scared to wear makeup when I was younger because I was worried that people who will see me w/o it will think I'm ugly since they are used to see me with it all the time. Lol now I couldn't care less what people think.
