when i go to the 'forsee progeny' deal, it has two text boxes. even if i enter in the names, nothing pops up, shows up, or anything. am i doing something wrong?

You need to enter the dragon's ID, not the name. When you view the dragon's profile page, look at the address at the top.
Example: This is my random Primogenitor
http://flightrising.com/main.php?p=lair&id=238&tab=dragon&did=561
That last set of numbers (561) is the ID
