CAJUN CULTURE FACT! [/b]
Werewolves, or more specifically, the rougarou (from the French "loup garou" - werewolf), have an important part in Cajun culture. Folk stories claimed that the rougarou could see into a person's soul, and would devour evil-doers (and misbehaving horses!). It was a common cautionary bedtime tale for children.
