The story unfolds like this:
I'm with my roommate at her mom's house and her phone pings. She checks it, and GASPS. I peek over and KITTENS. The horse rescue we volunteer at just got six 3-4 week old kittens dumped. And Oh. My. Mather.
Needless to say we went home with two to foster, the other four got divvied up elsewhere (for those who don't know, raising just 1 bottle baby is HARD, let alone 6). The litter was dubbed the Mama Mia litter, named Mimi, Melon, Matteo, Minor, Maris, and my personal favorite and soon to be foster fail, Mayday. And because one person can only take so much, allow me to properly share the impossible cuteness of Maris and Mayday.

Owlynx the goal is to foster them until they find new homes, but there is a very strong possibility Mayday (the calico) isn't going anywhere. They're American Curl mixes and Maris has the ears, so being all white with curled ears, he should find a home FAST. two other kittens already have homes lined up and another might as well.
I personally have a feeling that I'm keeping Mayday and my roommate with keep Maris, and Minor will stay with our friend and his foster mom. then the three of us will have two sets of siblings (My male cat Reilly, my roommate has one sister and same friend who has Minor and Matteo has another).

But awweeeee bottlefeeding is quite a feat! A cat I used to own had one sole kitten and for some reason she rejected to nurse him. He was such a tiny little thing and sometimes a pain to feed but I miss those times so dearly <3

They're so cute! One of my friends does fostering too. Even had a cat give birth on my sister's carpet. XD It's amazing to watch them grow and thrive and turn into these little bouncy terrors. ;)
