my personal faves are my Hubert and his Brilliant Psywurm!

Like many in this thread, I'm a big fan of matching familiars to dragons, either visually, aesthetically, or story-wise, so this was a hard choice for me. However, I only have one dragon/familiar pair who fits all of those categories:

Quainu is one of the first dragons I bought, and actually the eldest in my lair. I got him partly because he was an adult, but mostly because he reminded me of fall. Likewise, his Autumn Dryad was one of the first familiars I got, and they've been together ever since. Aside from the obvious color similarities (even their eyes match!) they sit in similar ways, and the Tawny Antlers remind me of the Dryad's branch. I call Quainu my Autumn Druid, so there's even some pun fun in there, while they weave their magic together.

Verdure and her clown charger! The thing I like about these two is they're an unusual color combo you wouldn't think would work together, but it ends up looking really, really neat! I was super happy to discover there was a familiar with splashes of orange, brown, and green, too.
