It's onwards to the 4th gen for me. And for the first time there has been an improvement!

These were the hatchlings, clocking in at a total of 14 points. My heir inherited piebald - the first improvement. At this point I was scared I'd finish the challenge with an ungened fae! Even the colors are better, finally getting rid of that pesky grey. This is something I can work with.

The big goal is to get the remaining "upgrades": secondary gene, tertiary gene, uncommon breed. Admittedly I also want to get rid of piebald.
And due to getting bored while waiting I'm gonna start a second challenge, which will hopefully produce the mate for the final dragon of the first challenge.

Morph is a gene in the Coliseum, so it is worth four points. Runes is a treasure gene, so it is worth three points. Unusual eyes add up to four points. All this totals to 15 points. The overall score is now 353 points.

Even with the fastest conditions, a run would take probably around five or six months, and it's not worth limiting a second run to that. However, I'm still glad I did and will miss doing this challenge.

I started working on a project to do legacies of all eleven flights/elements... in Dec. 2014. So far I've completed four, and my current pair of legacies-in-progress are both on generation 8. I guess I'm just a little less than halfway done.
I definitely understand that that long of a project is not everyone's idea of fun, though!
