I notice more and more of the most recent genes have been looking a bit more like accents imo--still pretty so no harm meant, but I'd like to see more genes like glimmer, capsule, gembond, scales etc. Just my two cents P:

I'd like the gene a lot more if the shading wasn't absolutely borked! The design is gorgeous, but the shading when a darker-toned Ringlet is used on something like Obsidian looks way off, in terms of the shadow layer on Ringlet is brighter than the colors under it.
Wildclaws made a good example of this! Specifically, their wing patterns.
