While the dragon herself is very young, the thing controlling her has been hopping from host to host for who knows how long. Fresh is actually an ancient Shade that hides itself in colorful dragons, covering any signs of its host being taken over with even brighter colored clothing. It uses an odd lingo and acts like it's just an eccentric dragon with a love of bright colors and a dislike of 'uncool' language. Though if you can catch it without the goggles, you'll see pitch black eyes that give off a black vapor. Fresh also wears a mask as at times a black liquid can ooze from the host's mouth. It rarely makes Dragons shade-touched, instead completely containing as much of itself in its host as it can. Can't draw suspicion to it and the host after all. I've got a little story below on why Fresh is currently a skydancer. ----- Liana was getting ready for a fight. She was meeting with the strange snapper known only as Fresh. Well, Fresh was no snapper, but a shade controlling the poor dragon. She had seen that thing’s eyes, saw the blackness and the dark power leaking from them. That thing’s host had a very similar coloring to her actually. It had asked to meet somewhere very private and isolated, she knew that thing must be planning something. What it was… well, she was sure that it had to do with her finding out the truth. That thing was probably going to kill her to keep itself hidden away. She got her magic ready, meditating the entire time she waited for when she would be meeting that thing controlling her friend. Fresh, for all she knew, might have recently been taken over. The shade could have been observing to know how she acted before possessing that poor dragon. She would need to force it out somehow, and kill it. Ten minutes until she would need to fight. Liana got a few weapons and hid them under her robes, flying off to where she was told to go. When she got there, the thing was already waiting, giving her a lazy grin. “So glad ya could make sister. Real rad that ya came here early too. So home slice, ya’ve been acting odd and I was getting worried.” That light-hearted tone and weird lingo only put her on edge more. The colorful clothing was also somewhat hard on her eyes. She wished that Fresh hadn’t been so eccentric. “Get out of her shade.” She wasn’t even going to pretend she didn’t know the truth. Best to get this over with as soon as possible. Fresh was a sweet dragon and didn’t deserve to be controlled like this. She couldn’t wait for the others to realize they had both disappeared and come, they’d just kill the host to get to the shade, giving it time to escape. Fresh went quiet, expression blank. “Buddy, real uncool ta claim I’m a shade. Where’d ya get that wack idea from?” “Stop it! I saw your eyes! You will let Fresh go now!” Liana was ready for battle, magic already charged. Shadow dragons like her were more suited for trickery, but she was good at using her element to take out the shade touched beasts. If she needed to, she would injure Fresh enough to make the thing abandon her and take her to a healer once it’s dealt with. The shade just lets out a low chuckle, lifting the goggles it always wore from its eyes. “Sista… you’re talking to Fresh. If ya mean my rad host… well, I forgot her name. I know, I know, real lame of me ta do that.” That made her freeze up… there was no Fresh, just some poor dragon that had been in this clan for years, controlled by that thing the entire time. “Let her go.” Liana drew her weapons from their hiding places, tensed for battle. “Well, this is awkward.” Fresh’s tone had become… dull… no monotone, just like a Fae’s. “See, this host is kind of worn down and I was planning on ditching her anyway… And well… you’re coloring and all that… I’m sure a smart dragon like you can figure it out.” She froze, eyes widening before the fur on her body felt like it was standing on end. Why did she come here alone?! That thing… it wanted a new host, not to kill her! Could she really fight that thing and keep it from possessing her? Wouldn’t ‘Fresh’ coming back as a Skydancer without her raise alarm bells? Though… with how it dropped that lingo… it could pretend to be her, especially since she was a moron and always wore this damn hood of hers. Unfortunately for Liana, her thoughts distracted her enough for the shade to leave its host without her notice. When she did finally realize she lost focus, it was too late. It had rushed at her and right as it got to her, she saw that the previous host was already dead, most likely devoured from the inside by it. “I’m sorry.” Her final words were also her last thoughts, as the first thing consumed by the thing taking her over was her mind. At least there was one small mercy in this.

This is Fresh (Yes I am an Undertale nerd). While the dragon herself is very young, the thing controlling her has been hopping from host to host for who knows how long. Fresh is actually an ancient Shade that hides itself in colorful dragons, covering any signs of its host being taken over with even brighter colored clothing. I've got a little story below on why Fresh is currently a skydancer.

Liana was getting ready for a fight.

Where’d ya get that wack idea from?”

“Stop it! I saw your eyes! You will let Fresh go now!”

Liana was ready for battle, magic already charged.

I know, I know, real lame of me ta do that.”

That made her freeze up… there was no Fresh, just some poor dragon that had been in this clan for years, controlled by that thing the entire time. “Let her go.”

While gladly teaching the young, he rarely goes off to forage himself anymore, and spends his time on the outskirts of the clan, letting himself grow into the surroundings through roots and moss, slowly becoming a literal part of nature.

Some are convinced he will see the last star die. None of them knew a day he wasn't there, watching, smiling, teaching, guiding. Few, if any, can imagine there will ever be a time he won't be, as for most of them he IS time. And he isn't even the most ancient one. But he is the one who remembers.

Some say he has seen the birth of the sun.

Darkness approaches the souls of the weary, and weigh with caution, my glowing eyes. Be wary at this young foe, for not has sin overcome them with our lost suffers and agony.

Unable to send her young daughter to another clan or to exalt her, she's decided to raise her in the misfit clan.
