I just hatched a silver, silver, platinum, metallic, alloy, opal. I can't find anything like it in that auction house,. I must be doing something wrong because I can't find anything like him in the search dragon function.
First, am I using the search dragon function wrong? I can't believe I've got the only one.
Second, what would he be worth? Silver, silver, platinum isn't xxx. . .
Any ideas? Take pity on a newbie . . .

I'm new too so I'm not sure on price, but opals are worth a good amount - and he's beautiful!

@gleester wow he is gorgeous O.O he's worth at least 250kt or 250g, you could probably go as high as 600g! i'd start on the higher side and as time goes by lower the price if you're having trouble selling him!
i'd also be willing to trade one of my opal tert dragons for him if you're looking to trade dragons!

It's not unusual that you'd have the only gene/color combo for sale, or even on the site. Met/All/Opal are all gem genes so they'll be rarer than treasure or Baldwin genes which are much easier to obtain.
If you were trying to find some comparable prices on the AH, you'll almost always want to search by genes only, no colors. Since the derg is an XXY color scheme, you could also select that in the "Color Pattern" search parameter. I wouldn't bother to check pricing by breed.
That will give you a starting point for pricing, so from there you just have to choose whether to list by gems or treasure and decide on your price.
From a quick glance at the AH results, 500-750g would probably be a good range.
