Go ahead and keep him up for sale! I think he's absolutely gorgeous but I've already gotten a 2nd gen from this thread so I want to keep it open to others. But if no one takes him within a week then, yes! I will absolutely buy him from you :)

@SamieSam many people will name their hatchlings so that if they are exalted, they will be exalted with a name ^^

Sadly, gen2s don't actually hold any real value in terms of the game economy. In fact, often they will be especailly low value due to having all basic genes and sometimes crazy colors XD
Some of us assign sort of arbitrary value to dragons for different reasons- some carry on better than others:

* gen2 IMPERIALS are valuable
*Triple colors and double colors are sought after by many players.
*certain color combos, such as pastels and "eye-burners" sell pretty well I suppose.
*gen ones from unhatched eggs are probably the only dragons that will sell well with all-basic genes, but even then they may not. I have 4 myself that aren't selling and two of them have rather close color ranges for all three genes.

Labeling them as gen2s won't really do anything for sales in the AH, unfortunately.

They are what we're looking for here though, because to some of us, they are special because they're the first nest a player ever hatches. A little memorable I guess XD

It also gives a fun way to give back to new players- a whole lot of us, when we joined, got a lot of free items and dragons- it's nice to give back now by paying much more than normal for dragons that are special- at least to the new player and a handful of us older ones ^^


I would certainly list them on the AH though! They may just have the perfect color combo for someone's project or something like that =D
