TOPIC | [S][Writing] Serthis calcification art
Serthis art, traditionally rare in the midst of the chaotic war that makes up serthis society, has, in recent endeavors, largely been destroyed to reduce sympathy in the light of the recent Beastclan invasions, or censored by the serthis themselves. What scraps of knowledge remain are few and treasured, and rarely is it freely shared as it today: not only an important technology in serthis society and warfare, older discoveries of chemical-carved and plated statues demonstrate that alchemy is the root of serthis art.

One of the less-well-known methods of these chemical techniques is calcification: the extension of many bonelike anatomical features such as horns and spines to other areas. Traditionally, serthis have used this technique on losers of their many duels or captured prey, but the skill has become rarer and rarer as serthis resources are strained in the war. To date, it is nearly nonexistent to the dragon world.

An artist, however, has unprecedentedly used this technique in the creation of a calcified statue, a kind that has not been seen for eons. If you would like to observe or posses this rare and one-of-a-kind piece of artwork, view the appraisal and sale post here.
