@clovus I kind of want to see what their next stage evolutions look like before I make my decision. I really, really want to like Poplio, but I'm also really interested in Litten.

At the moment I am going with Rowlet, but the final decision will be made when I see the final evolutions. :o I've never used a grass starter before though, so it'll be interesting if I do go with the fancy man!

As much as I'm normally Edgy Trash(TM) and love myself some cats, I'm probably gonna go with Rowlet?? Unless I don't like its later evolutions, then definitely Litten, since it looks like its gonna be Dark/Fire.

Team Rowlet!I think it's pretty cool how Rowlet is a dual-type starter.

Rowlet's last chance (amazing final evolution) is rapidly crumbling now that we have Lurantis (I'm 200% casual and don't like having two pokemon of the same type in my team), and I'm not a fan of the first stage. I prefer my owls a bit more distictly owl-shaped.
So I'll probably go with Popplio. It's one of these pokemon that just stick with me for reasons I don't even know myself.
