Deciding against it, He ducks back into the woods.
"it would be best to just... avoid getting attached to someone else for now." he thinks. He walks along a well worn trail, probably made by the local fauna. He perks up at the thought of food, and then starts to sniff out a trail. When he finally latches onto one, he crouches down and starts to stalk, before his eyes land on another wolf, seemingly stalking the same prey.
"how many wolves are there? they don't smell like they're all from the same pack.."

Trapped then thought he heard voices and other wolfs. "Oh no..." He thought walking towards the sound

Noticing a plump vole chewing away on some seeds in a field, Nevaeh dropped into a low stance within the long blades of grass. She slowly sneaked forward, her tail low and her muscles aching to jump.
When she was about ten feet away, she exploded out and pounced on the vole. Cradling the vole in her mouth, she had suddenly caught scent of another wolf. She glanced around curiously.

Noticing a plump vole chewing away on some seeds in a field, Nevaeh dropped into a low stance within the long blades of grass. She slowly sneaked forward, her tail low and her muscles aching to jump.
When she was about ten feet away, she exploded out and pounced on the vole. Cradling the vole in her mouth, she had suddenly caught scent of another wolf. She glanced around curiously.

His eyes met the she-wolf's, and he tensed, torn on whether he should run or go up to her. taking a gentle step forward he made up his mind. Approaching her, he did his best to appear unthreatening despite his rather large form.

Nevaeh took a small step backwards when she saw the dark brown male approach her, the vole still tightly cradled in her mouth. He was larger than she was for sure, but he had a friendly atmosphere to him.
However, she decided not to take any chances and her eyes darted around for an escape route if the other wolf dared to lunge at her. Nevaeh's muscles tightened and her ears flattened against her head.
"Who are you?" she hesitated, forcing out the words.

"Oh! Um, sorry, I didn't mean to- uh," I'm so rude, I shouldn't have listened to them. I bowed my head in shame and answered back, "M-my name is Whispin, you can call me whatever you'd wish."

I looked around at the make-shift pack. I think to myself, 'I'll try my best to help! I don't want to lose anyone else.'

Swiftly swallowing the vole down first, she took a step forward again. This wolf seemed safe enough to approach and her muscles relaxed at the thought.
"I'm Nevaeh," the she-wolf uttered.
Suddenly it occurred to her that this wolf was probably hunting the same vole as her, and she felt a bit guilty.
"I hope you don't mind that I took that vole..." she asked, "I could help you hunt down some more prey, if you wanted."

"oh I don't mind! you probably needed it more then I did!" he seemed happy that she ate, even if that meant he didn't get to eat himself. Tilting his head slightly, he considered her offer. "i wouldn't mind a hunting partner. we could manage to catch bigger prey at least."
